Air-conditioner is a big source of power consumption, which takes about 40% of all. Energy analysis is important for the choice of air-conditioner package, the energy consumption prediction and the energy saving for building air conditioning system. Energy analysis for the building air conditioning system includes the following two parts:one is the dynamic cooling load calculation combined with weather data, the other is energy consumption calculation for the air conditioning system. The former is basic and most important. This paper will try to work out series of model to analyze the cooling load of building.First, this paper gives some reasonable simplification to various building system and confirm the research objective. Meanwhile, the advantages and disadvantages of the calculation methods are list. Finally, the RTSM (Radiant time series method) is confirmed to create the overall model of calculating building cooling load. The models are created for the components of building such as wall, roof, window, floor and inside heat. The work focus as follows: (1) Solar angles are calculated with deliberate consideration to special conditions. (2) Solved the key problems—the calculation of PRF and RTF, which is most important part to build the model of heat gain of wall, roof. (3) Simplification model for window heat gain is confirmed, which neglect the influence of the window frame. The outside shading, inside shading, the transmission and absorption of radiation and heat conduction of glass are given much consideration. (4) Simple improvement is worked out, which considers the heat loss through floor.Detailed introduction is given to the CTF solution, from which PRF and RTF are calculated. Laplace method and state space method are analyzed. This paper gave an example calculation, and the comparison with results from Energy Plus and HvacLoadExplorer. The reason why RTSM...
