With the rapid development of highway to the mountain areas, there has been a large number of high-pier bridge.Once the bridge is destroyed by mountains natural disasters, it is difficult to be repaired.So it is required that the pier structure has good quality of construction and good capabilities to prevent earthquake disaster. According to the specific project,this paper studys on the excavation of the high slope,the linear control of the pier construction,the identification of the restraints stiffness of the pier foundation and the seismic performance of bridge piers.The specific work done are as follows:(1) This paper took the slope bridge foundation of shandianjiang bridge as an example, based on strength reduction theory,established the three-dimmensional solid model in the various stages of pile foundation construction to analyze the slope stability,internal force,deformation and gained the slope safety factor before and after the foundation construction by use of the technique of searching the slip surface where the reduction coefficient changed progressively with differentiating the plastic area was whether or not penetrated.(2) The calculation formula of the displacement of the top of the pier under the sunshine was deducde, the correctness of which was validated by Ansys software. The construction control scheme of pier deformation and axial deviation caused by temperature was presented.(3)Approximate formula of the fundamental frequency of the pier structures was obtained by combining Rayleigh and Southwell's methods, validated by midas/civil software.Few difference shows that the approximate formula has good precision.At last, a method to predict the foundation restraints stiffness is put forward, the correctness of which is validated through on-site power test.(4)Much aspects of seismic vulnerability research are reviewed, based on the comprehensive reading and understanding of related literature.The moment-curvature of the reinforced concrete section of the No.1 Pier of shandianjiang Bridge was analysed.Based on the nonlinear time histoly analysis of the No.1 pier by use of midas/civil software, the theory fragility curves of the pier was obtained.
