With the rapid development of the national economy, increasing the speed of passenger trains has been the main direction of the development of railway transport. The high-speed EMU (Electrical Multiple Unit) of "Harmony" series has been operated in 2007, the speed of which is over 200 km per hour. As the increasing speed of passenger trains, the safety and riding comfort of running vehicle are asked a higher requirement. The stability, riding quality and safety of running trains are decided by the dynamic performance of high speed bogie directly, which as one of the most important components of high-speed train.On the basis of the study of high-speed EMU bogie at home and abroad, the exploitation of structural features and technical characteristics for high-speed EMU bogie current in China is introduced. According to the technical characteristics of trailer bogie of SKTB-200 used in EMU of CRH2, the dynamic simulation model for high-speed train is established in SIMPACK which is a multi-body dynamics analysis software. Researches on the influence of wheel tread profile and wheel diameter for the dynamic performance of high-speed train have been done. According to the simulation results, the suggested optimal values of the wheel tread profile and wheel diameter are put forward. And then, in order to find the main influence of the suspension parameter and it's value range, the influence of the suspension parameter on the dynamic performance of the high-speed train is comprehensive analyzed based on those optimization values. At the same time, the basis for the design of suspension parameters of high-speed train bogie is provided. Finally, the prediction analysis for the dynamic performance of the high-speed train is completed.The simulation results are obtained:the stability and riding quality of the high-speed EMU optimized have been greatly improved. The nonlinear critical speed of the vehicle system reaches 520km/h. With the improvement of the stability, the curving performance of the vehicle lowers slightly. When the running speed achieves 250 km per hour, the lateral and vertical stability indicators of vehicle all have reached level one of the GB5599-85 standards, which could be able to meet the operational requirements of high speed train well completely.
