Paper introduces that tradition hoisting system has some limitations in industry application. Because of the drawback of the traditional hoisting system, the article introduces the PMLSM hoisting system and its research and development. First, paper introduce the driven machine of linear motor hoisting system, the basic structure, classification, working principle, characteristics, etc. Then talk about the structure of hoisting system, work flow analysis. In this study, the research object which we researched is a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor hoisting system experiment model. Design the overall plan of the control systems, selected industrial PC and PLC as control system main frame, introduced the critical system device, and the introduced the various sub-systems such as power supply circuit modules, motor control circuits, PLC subsystem, inverter control circuit, data acquisition subsystem, communication interface circuit. The study also takes working environment into account, discussed interference protection measure. The preset velocity is used a ladder accelerate curve, it produced by PLC online calculation, used close loop PID algorithm archive velocity adjust of the hoisting system. And also the paper introduces the PLC program using modular method, and then various parts of the design. Computer supervisory software is designed and programmed using Visual Basic 6.0 integration design environment, it meets the demand of data acquisition and supervisory, and also have a good man-machine interface.
