Nanjing Presidential Palace In The Axis Of The Building Group On Space Research

After several years of careful planning and preparation, the presidential of Nanjing become the largest and best-preserved buildings one of the Chinese modem architectural remains. As a typical case in which Nanjing area and even the whole country at present still save the modern architectural remains.This paper takes the central axis construction as the research object, which is the most representative and special construction in Nanjing Presidential Palace. Through the perspective of architectural space, the author tries to generalize the central axis construction cases by file-based, graphical, comb-style type, to complete an overview of its space introduction, spatial resolution, and spatial characteristics. First, the author conducts site surveys, research of Nanjing Presidential Place's existing physical space, and organizes the data of scale, characteristics, and causes of development in different historical periods. Secondly, this thesis advances split-type analysis of the central axis construction space, which is divided into external space, gray space, and internal space. From the aspects of space elements, structure and characteristics, this paper finally concludes the space characteristics of central axis construction in Nanjing Presidential Palace.Purpose is passed on the Nanjing presidential axis building group space systematized analysis and research, can from deeper administrative levels and understanding of the modern architecture spatial characteristics of Nanjing. Keep Nanjing architectural monuments conscious and planned. And better reflect modern architectural features of Nanjing space.
