Simulated training in the plcae of traditional training with real equipment is the developing direction of army training. Simulated training can reduce cost, logistics supply and weaponry abrasion, avoid spatiotemporal restrictions and achieve higher safety. It is also highly prized for its advantage in quickly improving fighting capability of the troops being trained. Its advantages are also obvious in conducting hazardous, difficult training items or items that can hardly be carried out or repeated in real life. Due to the above-mentioned features, research on simulated training has been the center of attention in military studies allover the world.Presently vehicular weapon systems enjoy omnibearing and full-depth fire assault capability with independent fire capabity for individual systems and strong fighting capability for battalion groups. But SPG weapon systems are disadvantageous for the following reasons: considerably high manufacturing cost, short lifespan of engines, involement of large quantity of vehicles and guns and the resultant complexity of training management, difficulties in support, high cost in training, and high probability of system malfunctions and failures.Proceeding from the training requirements a certain new type of, this dissertation analyzes this radio's functions and operations, examines the simulation software's application and design, the simulator's overall design, and selection of the electrics. The result is a system combining teaching, training and monitor functions. The research is of great theoretical and practical significance to the development of new simulation training system of similar nature.
