The design of golf course plants landscape is a brand new field to our domestic landscape workers. There is few specialists on golf landscape, lack of theories.Especially more few on golf landscape plants design. How to complete the golf course landscape plants, with the limited design resources, needs more deeper research and practice works.Gathering basic materials+analysis+summarizing as the working method, with field survey,design participation some other means, combining classical Chinese garden design knowledge, we do the research of golf course landscape,use the theory to the course construction, and put forward the achievement finally.The article firstly gives a introduce of history of the golf sports and golf landscape development, then makes a brief about golf course main elements, and their concept and usage. Selectively describes the principle of the plants landscape design,the relative requirements and methods. On the basis of analysis of cases,blueprints and pictures, we get the important conclusion below:(1) The principle of golf course plants landscape design is:"indigenous and indigenous tree"(2) The landscape designer need to study some relative knowledge, know the course function, master characters of plants and the demand of course construction, and the would build a perfect ecological plants landscape.(3) We should control the spatial scale, consider the size relation form a far distance, because the golf course is a kind of big landscape, most players view the scenery at a big range.(4) The plants selection should follows the natural law. Choosing a little trees, but more shrubs, to builds a diversified cover landscape.
