The reinforced concrete structure is widely used in engineering and its durability causes more and more attention. Due to the very complex application enviorment, the durability, which is affected by the natural environment and the factor from itself, declines gradully and shorten the useful(working) life of construction. Especially for the hydraulic concrete working in cold area, the freeze-thaw damage is the main factor which decrease the durability of concrcet and invalidate the construction. Therefore, the major content of this work is to study the antifreeze durability by combining of factual engineering application and explore concrcete compound which can meet the necessary of engineering and is environment friendly and cheap.The main content of this work is as following:(1) Relating the advancement and theories about research on the durality of concrete. Gived the opinion to study the effect of material on the concrete durality.(2) Suggenting the methods to improve the durabilit by analysis the mechanismss of freeze-thaw damage.(3) Relating the compound design of concrete and propose the method to design the compound of concrete. On the basis of factual application of antifreeze concrete, performed experiment to explore compound of antifreeze concrete which can meet the necessay of engineering. Then, facfual application in engineering verified that the explored compound is good and its application brought economical and social benefit to county and company and contributes to environment protection and energy conservation.
