The technique of labyrinth seal is a conventional non-contact sealing technology, which is widely used in aeroengine. The labyrinth gap is related to capability of a aeroengine. Therefore, the accurate measurement of the labyrinth gap of aeroengine is very necessary and required in the process of research, improvement, maintenance and manufacturing. But the study on measuring the labyrinth gap now is at the infant stage at home, and there is not a perfect measuring system of labyrinth gap. Our laboratory has made more than three years of study in this aspect and already designed two sets of systems. Author introduced the SOPC to measurement and control field at the foundation of laboratory's research and designed a measuring system based on the embedded system of SOPC.The SOPC technology is a new technology appeared in recent years, it is to construct a complete system in a single chip. We will face three questions when using this technology in measurement and control field. The first is to construct a SOPC hardware platform which is suitable for measurement and control field and to solve the problem of sample. The second is the control problem, the goal is to realize the high real-time control of all kinds of motor. The third is architecture and designing of software.Aiming at the three questions, the paper will launch the thorough research.1. In the aspect of hardware platform, this paper selects a proper step motor and driver according to parameters of system, integrates fiber sensor and optical-electric module, designs AD sampling circuit, constructs a system based SOPC, sets up hardware platform and solves hardware part of data samplings.2. For the control problem, aiming at the difficult point of controlling step motor using SOPC, this paper investigates the theory of trapezoidal and parabolic curve velocity planning. Furthermore, this paper discusses its implementation methodology and transforms theory into actual problem, Based on this, this paper designs a step motor controller IP core with trapezoidal and parabolic curve velocity planning, and solves the problem of controlling step motor using SOPC.3. In the aspect of software architecture, the operation of positive stop and home is set the highest priority and is performed using interrupt mode. Moreover, this paper takes measures as cyclic operation of measuring - data processing-controlling for calibration. This paper costs time to solve the question well, which is completed using two threads in PC. In the process of software design, this paper realizes program of AD sample, home program, interrupt service routine, the program of DMA transmission.At last, the system will be debugged and some experiments will be done in order to verify the performance of the system. Furthermore, as an atempt using SOPC in the measurement and control field, this system is a good example.
