Through the use of twin-screw extruder, using reactive extrusion method for short-fiber and polycarbonate composite was prepared by carbon fiber distribution, high-performance polycarbonate moderate aspect ratio distribution/carbon fiber composite material.Oxidation using a gas, liquid oxidation, liquid phase oxidation + silane coupling agent such as carbon fiber composite method for pre-modification, scanning electron microscopy modified carbon fiber surface morphology, analysis of different methods of surface treatment of carbon fiber effects of different methods of treatment of carbon fiber surface morphology is obviously different, liquid and gas phase oxidation oxidation than the former treatment, the surface roughness of carbon fiber clear liquid phase oxidation of the surface by the silane coupling agent activated a more smooth surface. This three-treated carbon fibers and polycarbonate composite mechanical properties after testing showed that liquid phase oxidation + silicone combined treatment prepared the best overall performance of composite materials, carbon fiber content of only 5%, the yield strength and elastic modulus, respectively, compared with the pure polycarbonate increased by 18% and 62%, identify the best carbon fiber processing method, the basis for further studyOf different processing technology on composite material, the study results show that the screw speed on the properties of the composites is small, Of the processing temperature on the properties of composite materials, high temperature, the polycarbonate/carbon fiber composite mechanical properties increased slightly.Initial length of carbon fiber and carbon fiber content of the composite results show that:chopped carbon fiber longer the carbon fiber composite materials in the larger aspect ratio, the better the performance of composite materials. By studying the carbon fiber content on the composite performance results show that the carbon fiber content increases, the composite mechanical properties and heat distortion temperature is gradually increased; in which the carbon fiber content is 13%, the best performance; yield strength from the pure polycarbonate 58.8MPa increased to 77.3MPa, increased by 32%; elastic modulus increased from 1303MPa to 2333MPa, and nearly double; heat distortion temperature increased from 110℃to 153℃, increased 43℃.
