Problem Of Environmental Pollution Game

With the rapid development of China's economy, environmental pollution and accidents are growing frequently, and the problem of environmental pollution and treatment research in our country is very urgent too. Some scholars' research on the problem of environmental pollution is benefit to treat the environmental pollution problems. Through the status quo of the problem on environmental pollution in China, this paper is exploring the reasons of pollution with game theory.Fristly, using symmetrical and asymmetrical game theory to analyze the large-scale effect, and the main small-scale players' pollution caused by differences cost in this paper. The result shows that deep punishment and enterprises' union are useful for sovling the problem of environmental pollution, and achieving environmental treatment objective.For the main information on pollution and environmental impact of the decision-making departments, then it is using the complete and incomplete information game theory to analyze the environmental pollution problem in the paper. The results do not think that all the private information can bring more to the pollution of the main payoff.Regardless of enterprises and residents participate in environmental protection investment or not, they can enjoy the benefits no difference (Free-rides). There is market failure of environmental pollution and protection, which needs government to regulate it, so we should analyze the behavior between enterprises and environmental protection department (Government) in this paper. Then, environmental protection departments should actively exercise of environmental protection and give deep punishment to the enterprises who didn't treat the pollution.This paper analyzes the effects of game steps (The life cycle of enterprises) on players' behavior too, and explores the countermeasure for solving environmental pollution problem, when symmetric evolution model is comprised. The result shows that if the cost for treating pollution of industrial enterprises is larger than the loss caused by environmental pollution, or the cost is higher than the punishment of the enterprises, then the enterprises won't treat pollution. Then, enhancing the technical level of environmental pollution treatment and reducing the cost, or combining the enterprises to expand the income gap of different sizes, then the enterprises would like to treat pollution. Enforcing the law strictly and cutting down the cost of supervision are all the important ways to prevent environmental pollution.
