Both pyridine derivatives and thiazole derivatives belong to benzene series of compounds . In this paper, the reaction properties of them are discussed, the syntheses of 2 - hydroxymethyl - 3 - methyl - 4- (2,2,2- trifluoromethyl- ethoxy) pyridine and N-cyclohexy -2-benzothiazole sulfonamide are researched as special examples.2-hydroxymethyl-3-methyl-4- (2,2,2-trifluoromethyl-ethoxy) pyridine is a intermediate which can be synthesized from 2,3-dimethyl-pyridine by oxidation, nitration, surstituted, acylation and hydrolysis. In this paper ,the reaction types which are involved in the reaction are introduced. And the possible reaction mechanisms are also discussed. Furthermore, the reaction process is optimized simply and the better technology condition is determined.N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazole sulfonamide is a kind of vulcanization accelerator and widely used in tires and other rubber products for its resist scorching and short curing time. There are four major synthesis methods are used or being researched. In this paper the oxidation process of synthesis the N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazole sulfonamide synthesis from 2-mercaptobenzothiazole is researched, and the optimum conditions are determined. The solubility of N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazole sulfonamide in different cyclohexylamine concentration at different temperature is measured and fitted into a mathematic formula, the research results are interesting for N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazole sulfonamide production.
