The superheated steam drying refers to dry the wet material with the superheated steam directly contact them and remove the moisture content. Compares with the traditional hot-air drying, this approach takes the steam as the drying medium, the waste gas discharged by the dryer is the steam completely, using the condensation method can recycle the latent heat of the steam to reuse, the consumption of energy significantly decreased, it's a brand-new dry method developed recently years, has the advent-ages of considerable energy savings, the products dried by superheated steam have superior quality ,without on fire and the explosion hazards, the higher efficiency of heat transfer and mass transfer ,and so on. Adapted to the industrial requirement for the dry technical, it has the huge developed potential and the application prospect.This article has conducted the research on drying the humidity material distiller's grain with superheated steam, carried on the distiller's grain superheated steam box t-ype drying and pneumatic drying in the laboratory bench built by ourselves .It has studied the influences of the drying medium temperature,the mass flow,the weight of the input material and the diameter of material to the drying process; In the pneumatic drying process, it has not only conducted the four researches above -mentioned, but also inspected the influences of the drying medium temperature,the mass flow and the diameter of the material to the heat transfer coefficient during the pneumatic drying process, and obtained the connection equation of the heat transfer coefficient by the data gained during the experiment. The results indicated: with the drying medium's temperature and the mass flow increased the drying rate speeds up, with the input increased it has reduced, with the diameter of the material increasesd it also has reduced . Simultaneously the results show that it's more efficiency and energy saving by increasing the medium's temperature than by increasing its mass flow to obtain the same drying purpose, and the heat transfer coefficient drying with superheated steam is higher than that of with traditional hot-air, and the influences of the drying medium temperature,the mass flow and the diameter of material on itwas consistent with the influences on the drying rate.
