| One-dimensional Inorganic nanomaterial has been paid much attention because of their unique physical and chemical properties in basic scientific research and potential technology applications. electrospinning is especially new simple, effective method for preparation of one-dimensional nanomaterials. It`s reported first in 2002 to synthesis ceramic nanofibre by electrospining. since then, more than 30 various of ceramic fibres have been produced. Recently, many groups have designed and synthesized ferrite through electrospinning method. For example, Li and co-workers reported the formation of NiFe2O4[1]fibres. Subsequently, ZnFe2O4[2], MnFe2O4[3],CoFe2O4 [4,5]and CuFe2O4[6]fibres were synthesized by electrospinning. It is noteworth that they are all cubic spinel ferrite which are used soft magnetic ferrite. Little work has been done on magneto-plumbite type ferrite.Composite nanofibers were fabricated using a process combining sol-gel and electrospinning technique. In the process, Spinnability was conferred by the addition of poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) and acetic acid as a spinning aid. BaFe12O19 and SrFe12O19 nanofibres were obtained via calcining relevant composite nanofibers at different temperature. These nanofibres were characterized by SEM, EDS, TEM, XRD, FT-IR and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). It's shown that BaFe12O19 and SrFe12O19 nanofibres with smooth surface and uniform morphology were obtained. Moreover these fibres have unique magnetic properties, with much enhanced coercivities relative to bulk materials. The novel magnetic fibre can potentially be used in high-density magnetic recording, micro/nano electronic devices, and microwave devices. |
