Combined with the advantages and disadvantages of activated sludge process and SBR, this group invented a new aerobic reactor with sludge filtering. This reactor can not only easily develop aerobic granular sludge but also increased the volume load of activated sludge reactor and SS removal.Using the organic flour wastewater, the possibility of developing aerobic granular sludge in the process of gradually increasing the load of the reactor was studied. The removal of CODCr, SS and ammonia nitrogen was also carried out. Furthermore, the generation of red worm was successfully inhibited. The invention of this reactor is combined with the technical requirements of an environmental protection enterprise, adapted to stricter requirements of wastewater treatment to build. It can suit the need for integration equipment development, can realize the reactor modular and modular combinations from influent to effluent,It also has the ability of nitrogen removal and adapts to the installation of outdoor construction, urban and industrial and mining enterprises mainly in organic wastewater treatment.Referring to the invention patent of aerobic granular sludge reactor with bed filter(Application number: 200810249663.1) , this reactor was designed. The operatingperformance and the ability to remove pollutants was considered from the point ofviews of microbiology, hydraulic stirring with aeration, return cycle of sludge andeffluent filtered by sludge bed respectively. The main conclusions are as follows:1. The early stage of the reactor running: The reactor can rapidly domesticate the seed sludge with CODCr removal up to 80%.2. The formation stage of granular sludge: Aerobic granular sludge can be generated as the volume load was gradually increasing from 0.3 kg CODCr / (m3·d) to 4.0 kg CODCr / (m3·d). Meanwhile, CODCr removal rate was up to 85% with CODCr value 60mg/L. The effluent quality comes to the primary standard of Shandong Peninsula after stable operation.Sludge concentration was relatively higher with MLSS 10000mg/L, which proved the possibility of developing aerobic granular sludge in this reactor.3. The later stage: Large ammout of red worm generated for the inappropriate management during the process, which had bad effect on the aerobic granular sludge formation. It proved that stopping aeration completely intermittently can eliminate this phenomenon.4. The final stage: The removal of ammonia nitrogen was carried out. The removal rete of NH3-N was stably 60% with out flow below 20mg/L, which comes to the secondary standard of Shandong Peninsula. It fulfill the requirement of integration of ammonia nitrogen removal.5. The result showed that treatment effect of waste water was good, when the organic concentrations of the wastewater was 300~2000 mg/L. This showed that the reactor had good adaptability to the different concentrations of wastewater.
