Being the common chinese medicine materials, angelica and sophora were wildly applied to tcm field. Danggui Kushen Wan was recorded in the chinese medicine set prescription preparation of the prc.Big honeyed pills mainly consisted of angelica and sophora have function of cooling blood,eliminating dampness and so on,which could therapy sorehead and facial ulcer, eczema effectively.As low content of effctive components in Danggui Kushen Wan, patients must take large amount. In order to improve the shortage, we changed pills into tablets in which the level of effctive components superior to pills'by studying fabrication process of tablets. Meanwhile high performance liquid chromatography and capillary electrophoresis methods were established to determine the content of ferulic acid,matrine and oxymatrine in Danggui Kushen Tablets for controlling the quality.The paper comprised the following parts:1 Angelica and sophora was introduced including the function,chemical constituents,main application and methods of analysis and identification.2 Fabrication process of Danggui Kushen tablets was researched.3 High-performance liquid chromatography methods was established for determining ferulic acid quantitatively in angelica and Danggui Kushen tablet.4 High-performance liquid chromatography methods was established for determining matrine and oxymatrine quantitatively in sophora and Danggui Kushen tablet.5 Capillary electrophoresis methods was established to separate ferulic acid,matrine and oxymatrine simutaneously, their contents in angelica, sophora and Danggui Kushen tablet were also analyzed.
