With the well mining depth increasing, the rockburst disaster of coal is seriously threatening our country coal industry development. How to carry on effective forecasting is the emergency problem of every scientific research departments of coal. Based on the deficient of forecast methods at present, this article put forward the acoustic emission monitor technology to forecasting rockburst, and carried on research on laboratory and outdoor which obtained favorable result.Firstly, based on the analysis of the coal acoustic emission and rockburst mechanism, we got the main route of coal AE endengering, analysed the relations between coal rockburst and AE, demostrated that it is feasible to forecast rockburst by AE method, discussed AE transmitting orderliness and attenuation influence factors of coal, studied the AE characteristics of coal on laboratory, and discussed the AE characteristic parameters.Secondly, we chose wavelet basis logically based on the AE signal characteristic, used wavelet theory and Matlab to do wavelet transformation by which we got the changing characteristic of AE of single-axis compression experiment, got rid of noises of the laboratory AE data with threshold method and picked up the AE affair number by Matlab programme and wavelet analysis theory.Finally, we used AEF-1 mine dynamical monitor system to carry on the outdoor test on the second phased working face of 83001~# of Fushun Mining Industry Group Laohutai coal mine. Mensurated the face's AE parameters, made statistic and analysis on the AE index of the several rockbursts which is obtained during the test, and got the AE change curve and premonitir characteristic by which to forcast coal rockburst. The test results indicated that the AE monitor technology is well to forecast coal rockburst.
