| The melamine resin fiber was a kind of newly developed flame-retardant fiber which possess excellent performance at high temperature or put fiber on fire.In spit of this,pure melamine resin fiber was a thermosetting polymer,and it formed a cross-linking network structure in three dimensions,otherwise a rigidity trizingl group included in the network structure,thus resulted in that the melamine resin fiber hard and fragile,and almost without any tenacity.Melamine which modified with ethylene glycol,PVA,resorcin,TMP,2,4-diamino-6-hydroxyethylamino-1,3,5-triazine and some others modified reagent can develop spin fibers with excellent spinnability,and the fibers have more flexibility and intension.The impacts of two different modified system which are Glycol/PVA/Resorcin/TMP and 2,4-diamino-6-hydroxyethylamino-1,3,5-triazine /PVA/TMP/RESORCIN/on viscosity and spinnability of melamine resin were investigated in this article.In addition,the influence of reaction temperature,time,pH value and solidified reagent on the polymerize reaction mechanism of the different modified melamine resin were discussed.During the course of experiments,rotation viscometer was used to determine the viscosity and molecular mass of the products;DSC,TG-DTA analyzing was used to token the flame-retardant capability of different modified melamine resin.On the base of so,we compared the capability and spinnability of different modified resin and spin fibers of high and low viscosity by dry spinning machine or centrifugal spinning.The result showed that Glycol/PVA/Resorcin/TMP system and 2,4-diamino-6-hydroxyethylamino-1,3,5-triazine/PVA/RESORCIN system could modify melamine resin fibers successfully.The tenacity of Glycol/PVA/Resorcin/TMP modified melamine resin was 1.5CN/dtex,relative extension at break elongation being 4.9%;The tenacity of 2,4-diamino-6-hydroxyethylamino-1,3,5-triazine/PVA/RESORCIN system modified melamine resin was 2.36CN/dtex,while relative extension at break elongation was 5.6%.Thought there is a curtain gap between practical requirement in it's properties,but flexibility,tenacity of the modified fibers and spinnability have been improved.So one can consider the modification to the melamine resin was success.Furthermore Glycol/PVA/Resorcin/TMP modified melamine resin fiber possess excellent performance at high temperature or put fiber on fire,Oxygen index was as high as 34.5;Oxygen index of 2,4-diamino-6-hydroxyethylamino-1,3 ,5-tria-zine/PVA/RESORCIN modified melamine resin fiber was 42.5. |
