Copper, Silver, Synthesis And Microwave Inorganic Chemistry

This article mainly introduce the complexes of copper or silver, in which ligands contain phosphorus and nitrogen atoms through four synthetic method, such as stir synthesis in liquid phase, solid state synthesis, hydrothermal synthesis and microwave synthesis. We have synthesized a serial of copper and silver complexes. For example, three complexes in which copper(II) atom is coordinated with phosphorus and nitrogen atoms, five complexes in which copper(I) atom is coordinated with phosphorus and nitrogen atoms and a W-Cu-S cluster through stir synthesis in liquid phase. We synthesize four W-Ag-S neutral clusters containing phosphorus ligand and two W-Ag-S anionic clusters through solid state synthesis. Four copper complexes are formed through hydrothermal synthesis. We also compare microwave synthetic method of copper and silver complexes with conventional method. Some complexes are examined through IR and Elements analysis.We deduce some structure of single-crystal through Elements analysis, such as:Infinite S-shaped Cu(I) coordination polymers:{[Cu2(dppm)(pyz)Br2][Cu3(dppm)3Br2] Br}n;Dinuclear copper (II) complex with twe ligands: [Cu2(C10H8N2)(P(C6H5)3)4Br2]·0.5DMF;Infinite Cu(I) complex: (CuCl)2(C4H4N2), (CuBr)2(C4H4N2);Infinite Cu(II) complex: (CuCl2)2(C4H5N3)3(H2O)2。Infinite S-shaped polymeric Cu(I) complexHigh quality single-crystal is examined through X-ray analysis then get the structure of super molecule [Cu(NH2CH2COO)(C12H8N2)(H2O)]Br·H2O.In the procession of the microwave chemical teaching and experiment, we should emphasize concept education, innovation education and train comprehensive quality. We do the comprehensive experiments through reformation and usage of microwave oven. This does not only increase students'good ability of practicing, analyzing and solving problems, but also make students comprehend the character of microwave oven deeply and train their innovative thinking. Meanwhile, we do some microwave experiments and save a lot of reaction time. As the proverb says, kill two birds with one stone.
