Because of the rapid development of computer technology and network technology, manufacturing has developing towards automated,intelligent,integrated and network.Stand-alone CAD/CAM technology has been unable to meet this new demand for the manufacturing sector.This article based on the new achievements of the current CAD/CAM technology development, analyzed Network CAD/CAM system architecture,combined the Web technique and the CAD/CAM technique,and according it to research Web-based CAD/CAM system of punching die,and discuss the key technologies in system.The main research contents are as follows:This article gives a research on system architecture of the web-based CAD/CAM system.Through discussed the characteristics of Network CAD/CAM and the key issues of Network CAD/CAM systems , combined the design requirements of Network CAD/CAM system,discussed Network CAD/CAM system for the program,this article proposes three-tier Web-based B/S frame, determines the system architecture, designs the system functional and compartmentalizes functional modules.The web-based CAD/CAM system of punching die is developed with objectARX.On the ground of the research about the three kinds of AutoCAD secondary development tools (AutoLisp,ADS,ObjectARX),this article chooses ObjectARX as the secondary development tool of AutoCAD , discusses the configuration of ARX development environment,basic structure and functions of the database operations and other issues,uses and develops the ARX function,and then displays graphics in punching CAD/CAM systems.This article proposes a new method of calculating and labeling the cutting edge dimension of the punching die.Based on the analyze of DXF file structure in AutoCAD,this article combines the characteristics of punching die part's graphic outline,uses the new method ,which match the graph entity and the dimension of the punching part, to judge the type of dimension wear, then carries out the automatization of the calculating and labeling about the cutting edge dimension of the punching die.This article proposes the research on wire-cut automatic programming.Through studying algorithm and processing technology of wire-cut,this article develops wire-cut automatic programming system, the autoprograme module takes and deals with punching part's information,then creates NC code.Another important aspect is theWeb technique.The modules of the Server are developed with the technique of COM in the environment of Visual C++ 6.0.This article combines COM with ASP to design the system security module,verify the data of pages,and at last complete the Web interface's design and let functional modules come ture.
