The dissertation, on the purpose of improving the combustibility of the propellant, was on a research of how the different kinds of catalysts and different contents of the same catalyst affected the combustibility. Five different kinds of catalysts were chosen in the study. The experiment was mainly on the research of the closed bomb test.The study showed that different kinds of catalysts and different contents of the same catalysts more or less affected the pressure exponent of the propellants, especially the Cu-Cr compound catalyst and the Cr-Fe compound catalyst, but the Pb3O4 catalyst didn't affect the pressure exponent remarkably; while the content of the Cu-Cr compound catalyst was more than 1 percent, it could lower the pressure index of the propellant remarkably. Comparing with those catalysts, 0.5 percent of the Ferrocene catalyst could lower the pressure exponent to a large extent.
