Since there exists some disadvantages such as much higher burning rate pressure exponent in the application of some propellants, this work is devoted to the improvements of combustion property. First, the closed bomb test is used to reaserch TEGDN that appends different catalyzers. The experimentations gain the curve of pressure and time, by the program that deal with the curve of pressure and time, the index of pressure in the different range of pressure can be attained. Variety of the index of pressure will give expression to the catalyzers to the TEGDN's combustion. Through being compared with the TEGDN without catalyzer, reaserch finds some good catalyzers and ways of adding catalyzer.Second, the Differential Thermal Analysis method was used to research the thermal decomposition property of the TEGDN with different catalyzers. And the affection of the additives will be reflected by analyzing on chemical kinetics.Through reaserch, the method that uses the catalyzer to depress TEGDN's index of pressure is primarily found and the different ways of adding catalyzer can make results better.
