The five complexes were characterizedwith infrared spectra, elemental analysis and X-ray crystallographic analysis. The variable temperature magnetic susceptibilities (4-300 K) were measuredfor the binuclear Mn(Ⅱ) complex [Mn2(μ-dmpo)2(dmpo)2(SCN)4(H2O)2](1)with 3,5-dimethylpyridine N-oxide as bridge ligand and a binuclear fittingformula was used and the magnetic coupling constant 2J=-2.17cm-1 wasobtained through the fitting, and it implies that there is a very weakanti-ferromagnetic interaction between the bridged Mn(Ⅱ) ions. The results of this dissertation will benefit the synthesis of novelmulti-nuclear complexes and it will also benefit the study of magnetic couplingdominating factors for the complexes with pyridine N-oxide and its derivativesas bridge ligands. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Pyridine N-oxide, Pyrazine N-oxide, Crystal structure, Magnetism, binuclear complex | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
