The process of production of tobacco enterprise has a high standard of heat & humidity environment, correct this environment and effective control strategy have a huge influence to the degree of moisture of tobacco.The degree of moisture of cigarette is a key index of it's quality. The degree of moisture of cigarette is affected by ambient temperature, humidity, velocity of flow and its state. In this article, Equilibrium Moisture Contents(EMC) and Moisture Absorption Rates(MAR) of several types of redried lamina, expanded tobacco and expanded stem at various temperature and Relative Humidity(RH) in the moisture absorption process were mainly determined by method of temperature and RH conditioning box .After we did the research of heat & humidity environment, we found the relationship between environment and degree of moisture of cigarette. Different tobaccos had different EMC at a certain temperature and RH. Chemical compositions of tobaccos played the main role on their EMC at higher RH, while their physical structures played the main role on their EMC at lower RH. The relationship between them is that the degree of moisture is increasing with the humidity environment at certain temperature, and the temperature has different effects on the degree of moisture at different humidity. There are differences between the moisture absorption of tobacco, and the absorption rate is related to physics structure and chemistry ingredient. The relationship between MAR and temperature & RH is that the MAR is increasing along with the rising of temperature & RH. This paper gave the mathematics model of degree of moisture and absorption rate. In the end, we analyzed this relationship especially for the tobacco restore room, and put forward the reasonable controls parameter.
