Mcv1350 Machining Centers Cnc System Transformation Research

With their high efficiency and reliable quality, CNC machine tools have increasingly become the basic equipments in moden manufacturing. The utilization of CNC systems is considered as a level mark of manufacturing for a country. In china, remarking old equipments with CNC systems has become a method to promote the manufacturing level. In fact, it has been the first choice in many manufactories because of its lower cost and shorter period.Therefore, it is very important to study the remarking machines by new CNC systems. MCV1350 vertical machining center left the Qinchuan machine tool factory on the March of 1994, it has three coordinate shafts named X,Y,Z, and it was effected half closed cyclic control. The old CNC system of this tool is A-B 8400MP CNC system, breakdowns often happen in the old system. In addition, a providing with CNC turning around worktable is needed for developing new product. So, it is decided to reform the machining center in CNFC Nantong Haishi Marine Machinery Company. Firstly, this thesis analysed deep going the original material about this machine tool (operation manual, program manual etc.) and did reforming scheme and procedure. According to the demand of expanding the tool functions, the suitable CNC turning round worktable was selected. The old electric system was reformed completely, YASNAC J50M CNC system and servo controller of YASKAWA replaced A-B 8400MP CNC system and servo controller, this system have the ability of controlling X,Y,Z,A four shafts, rational price and high reliability .And the fundamental machine tools parameters were analyzed and set according to MCV1350 machining center. The electric principle drawings were planed and PLC logic control programes were designed. Finally, each division of the tool was adjusted during experimentation. After reforming, MCV1350 machining center is satisfied for company, it conform to technologic and develop new product requirements. The period of development was cut down, It is benefit for company to win the market competition.
