Ball mill is extensively applied in metallurgy, chemical engineering, cement, porcelain, building, electric power, medicine and defense industry. Particularly, it is very important to choose the mineral in metallurgy industry. The costs of the mill-mineral occupy a very big scale in capital construction and production costs of beneficiation plants. The quantity of the products of the mill-mineral also exerts a very big influence on the mineral concentration at the same time. Therefore, it is important to improve the mill mineral process and increases the mill-mineral efficiency for the increase of the technical economy index of the beneficiation plants.In this thesis, a systematic study is carried out at the ball mill optimization. The ball mill process stability and lose steady with drift etc are analyzed with the system engineering standpoint. The system appearance and the inside contact of all the factors are pointed out. By use of the system model analyzing method, the main factor to affect the ball mill process are analyzied. All the dynamic parameter and variable quantity of the system are summed up. The concepts such as dispose rating of the mediums, quantized factor which can describe action range in the ball-mill processing and energy density which inside the ball-mill etc are introduced. Interconnection chart of all the dynamic parameters and variable quantity of the system is made. All these works provided clear thought mold piece for analysis and research of ball-mill with complicacy system. According to the dimensional analysis method, 14 resemble dimensionless number allowing from 17 variable quantities which is selected to superficial characteristics the processes of the ball-mill are derived. 6 mathematics model sets are established which can reflect systems outputting and status characteristic of ball-mill, such as production capacity, energy consumption, the ratio of crush, fineness distribution of the products a mathematics for distribute, the ratio of mineral substance with steel ball, noise...
