Fly ash engendered in the boiler when particulate coal is burning is fine dispersive argillaceous residue, vented vastly by the power plant or large enterprise, and it pollutes atmosphere, ground water and soil. So we use the fly ash largely in the building materials, in order to decrease the pollution. Additionally, we use the fly ash in the agriculture and environment, at the meantime, we extract charcoal and valuable minerals. Although we use the fly ash largely in many fields, fly ash pollutes the water resources and environment enormously.Flotation can be use in the processing fly ash so that charcoal should be expelled from fly ash. Consequently this thesis has optimizated the process flow in processing fly ash in order to process the fly ash on a large scale and to achieve standard fly ash in following technics.It can be use to confirm the grinding thickness and primary grinding time that physical activation is wet grinding. Meanwhile we can obtain the activated fly ash so we can experimentalize to chemically activate the fly ash. we also analyse activated fly ash with laser particle size analyzer and we come to the conclusion that all the particle size will trend to 4 microns. It indicate that we prolong the grinding time is a fool for one's pains.We carry out chemical activation on base of the physical activation. So we mix single activator or two activators into activator to obtain the standard intensity . and we find two sort of outstanding activator make the fly ash block exceed the standard intensity.X-Ray Diffraction(XRD) technique was adopted to investigate the quantity change of Ca(OH)2 and the character of block with activators. At the same time scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) technique were used to systematically analyze the morphology of block and elementary composition of microstructure.The results show that fly ash was early activated in block.
