In this dissertation, an embedded key processing system based on ARM and μC/OS-Ⅱ is proposed as well as designed, and it has completed the system hardware and the software design. This system is developed based on 32bit high performance ARM processor S3C44B0 and embedded operating system μC/OS-Ⅱ, ARM ADS1.2 is used as the development tool. The system makes full use of the high performance, low power and low cost of ARM microprocessor and the advantage of μC/OS-Ⅱ, providing an economical and practical solution.At first, briefly introduced this topic background as well as the significance, and succinctly introduced some basic concepts of the embedded system, introduced the types of embedded micro processor and embedded operating system and the embedded system development step and so on. And then, based on the analysis to the system demand, the article has produced the system overall structural design. After that, the hardware design of the system is discussed in detail. And the mechanism of μC/OS-Ⅱ is discussed;as well its transplantation to ARM processor and the application programming are also expatiated. At last, the main research conclusion is summarized and the following work is forecasted. The result has proved that, this key processing system has stable movement and reliable performance, and it has realized the processing function of precisely completing the users request for varies key models.
