Based On Deep Ecology To Reflect On Contemporary Environmental Construction

Ecological crisis has become an universal disaster. In spite of the technical and legal protection, the environmental problem is still under deterioration.Deep Ecology, a leading role in radical environmentalism, is intended to criticize and self-examine the errors made by industrial society on the relationship between man and nature and their deep roots.Based on the self-examination of the relationship of man and nature, this thesis first probes into the reasons of environmental problem. It points out that the basic reason of current ecological environmental problem is manourselves-------our biased understanding of the value of the nature , blind faithin science and technology, extravagant style of producing and living, etc.Then, based on the theory of deep ecology and the principles of self-realization and equalism of ecological centre, this thesis examines the theoretical and practical value of deep ecology on the environmental construction. Theoretically, deep ecology requires people to respect the nature, consume moderately and have reasonable faith in technology. Practically, it requires people to control the population, intensify environment-protective ideas. It advocates that people should attach more importance to the deep harmony between man and nature.
