Cast Steel Production Ester Hardening Process

New no-bake water glass sand which based on the co2-cured water glass sand is a new production technology. This process which used new water glass and liquid resin binder affect the structure and property of the binding systems. Therefore the collapsibility and binding in low temperature is improved. This article elucidates the molding methods and technological parameters with the new no-bake water glass ,and introduces the application of the equipments set. Through plenty of the experiments, several kinds of steel casting are made .Results show that this process is effective to decreases the rate of casting defects and to deal with the problem of old sand recycling .The new technology makes the quality of steel casting matching with the resin sand.
