In order to solve the problem of the heterotopy particle during the catalyst manufacturing, the catalyst synthesize process and recipe had been studied. The engineering scale-up had been researched also. The morphology and size distribution of the catalyst can be adjusted and controlled freely in the manufacture of the catalyst. The main conclusions are listed as following:1. The morphology of catalyst particle is affected deeply by the slight impurity in ECP. And the quality of ECP has the up-most effect on the morphology of catalyst particle.2. The morphology of catalyst particle is affected greatly by the catalyst-manufacturing recipe. The recipe, which could result in larger catalyst particle, can easily form heterotopy particle.3. The up-most effect on the morphology of catalyst particle is the solvent system of magnesium chloride (MgCl2). The morphology and the size distribution of catalyst particles can be changed by adjusting the proportions of the solvent in the recipe, and can be controlled relative easily by changing the proportion of toluene.4. During the growth of catalyst particle, the rate of temperature rising has the most direct effect on the morphology of the catalyst particle.5. The ester / Ti and lavation treatments for the catalyst have obvious influences on the morphology of the surface of the catalyst particle.6. The desiccation of the catalyst doesn't affect the total morphology of catalyst particle. But the size of the catalyst particle reduced slightly after the desiccation of the catalyst.7. If MgCl2 were not dissolved well, it would have blight on the particle size distribution of the catalyst.8. The mixing has great influence on the formation of active MgCl2, and it can affect the shape and size distribution of the catalyst particles.9. The scale-up research on catalyst manufacturing had been carried out. The internal component of the catalyst synthetic vessel has been optimized.10. The process of the catalyst manufacturing had been optimized. The catalyst quality problems, which resulted from the equipment scale-up, had been solved successfully.
