Urban Geological Environment Quality Assessment And Sustainable Development Strategy Research

Xianyang is a famous historic city in China, as well as a new industry city with major industries of the light and electronic. Only ground water is the water supply resource. In the current years, due to the development and utilization of ground water resource and geothermal resource in the city, some geo-environmental problems such as ground cracks were posed, which threatened the safety of people's lives and possessions and the sustainable development of the city's society and economy. So it's important realism and theory significance to find out and assess the conditions of the city geo-environment.Regard with its characters, the assessment of the city's geo-environmental quality shall be made from the two aspects of geological resource environment and environmental geological problem. On the basis of geological environment analysis, the paper assessed the quality of the city geo-environment by arrangement analysis and fuzzy synthesis method. Geological resource mainly consist of ground water resource and geothermal resource. Ground water is made up of assessing factors of yielding amount and water quality. Geothermal water resource can be assessed by the abnormity degree of geothermal and thermal flow quality. The problems of geo-environment mainly include ground fissure, loess wet-frame , sand soil fluidity, water contamination, geochemistry abnormity(including F, G r 6+ ).For each assessing factor different degree shall be endowed in accordance with its influence on the geo-environment.The south of the city's geo-environmental quality is good. There is more plenty ground water resource in this area. Moreover, there are no geo-hazards in the sub area. So it's fit for construction of the city. The north of the city's geo-environmental quality is middle. The bearing capability of ground water in the sub area is worse, and the ground soil has the property of loess-wet frame. Moreover, the amount of F- , G r 6+ in ground water exceeds the National standard. The worst area is located along with the north bank Fault of Weihe River. There are some ground fissures and wet-frame loess occurring in the area. So it's not fit for construction of the city.On the basis of the plotting area of geo-environmental quality, the paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures for the sustainable development of resource and environment of Xianyang city.
