Cu-Ni-Mn, as a alloy with intense age hardening characteristic and high intensity, low melting point, is a potential matrix material of abrasive-resistance MMC. However, it's difficult to quench, which limits its application in industry.In this thesis, the hardening characteristic of aging hardening in casting Cu20Ni20Mn alloy, which has various casting cooling rate, was studied. The effect of casting cooling rate on aging characteristic is also studied by metallography and transmisson electron microscopy. The results show that: the aging characteristic in casting of casting sample by various casting have in common, the originally structure have larger effect on the process of aging hardening in casting only. And it doesn't influence it's final characteristic, moreover it's performance has accounted to the performance after traditional solubilization age. This result will establish the foundation of Cu-Ni-Mn's abroad application in wear-resistance. |
