| China has made great development in the mining research of the manganese nodules for more than ten years and will plan to make the experiment in 1000-m ocean in the tenth five-year plan of Chinese government. Because of the complicated system and the wicked environment, it is necessary for us to carry out the virtual reality research- virtual prototyping design and processing research of the whole mining system in order to instruct the following preliminary mining experiment of 1000m.Many experts made some emulation research in the deep-sea mining system. In our country, because of the late beginning and the laggard technology, many work should be developed in the simulation research of the manganese nodule mining system including: virtual prototyping design and processing research of the whole mining system and the research of control methods.Based on the broad and domestic research, this paper uses mechanic dynamic analysis software ADAMS to build a parametric model which analyses the Deep Sea Mining System and make the simulation of the process of the collector's mining This simulation result dedicates that the mining system can collect the nodes in the 1000-m ocean along the designed track and the whole mining process is steady. The emulationresource of the Deep-Sea- Bed Mining System provides more comprehensive and precise project for the next 1000 sea experiment.The paper makes the virtual prototyping design and processing research of the whole mining system, including:1. The structure and mining methods of the preliminary mining system of 1000m2. The hydrodynamic analysis of the mining system and putting up of the numerical model. Due to the complication of the actual mining system, the paper analyses the environmental load of the deep-bed mining system based the research object. According to the Morison formula, all kinds of hydrodynamic forces are calculated in order to build the mathematical models of all the subsystems that are the theoretical base of the virtual prototyping model and the fuzzy-control system in the deep-bed mining system.3. The virtual prototype modeling of the whole system in 1000-m ocean. Because of the complication of the system, the 1000-m experimental mining system is simplified by the rule that the simplification doesn't influence the integrity of the whole system. The virtual prototyping model is build to simulate the mining process in ADAMS (Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical System).4.
