With the decrease of mineral resources on land, the general trend is exploiting them on international deep sea bed. In order to protect our country's rights and interests of exploitation, we must develop deep sea technology actively. According to the plan of exploiting the mineral on international deep sea bed, China will make trial of ocean poly-metallic nodule pilot mining in 1000m deep in the tenth five-year plan of Chinese government. Launching and retrieval process is the guarantee of mining, so the dynamic analysis and simulation of launching and retrieval will offer reference for structure and riser design, controlling of launching and retrieval operation. The circumstance is so intricacy that we can't test launching and retrieval technology just like we do on land. The virtual prototype of launching and retrieval system provides more comprehensive and precise project for its design, produce and application in sea trial, and contribute to shortening the research period, lowering exploitation risk and improving design quality. The major contents of this dissertation are as following:1. Ship motion were analyzed, forces that flexible hose , rigid pipe, collector and buffer station suffered from water were computed according to their shape characters.2. Virtual prototype of ship and process of transporting the collector were constructed in ADAMS and the process of transporting it were simulated.3. Virtual prototypes of launching and retrieval process of risers and figuration of flexible hose were constructed and simulated. Dynamic response of flexible hose and rigid pipe were analyzed .4. Experiment device of flexible riser were built and its prototype were constructed 1 and simulated. Experimental result were contrasted to the simulation's.
