Preparation And Characterization Of The Flame Retardant Decabromodiphenyl Ethane

This paper is about the study of preparation and production process of Decabromodiphenylethane ( DBDPE ).In the paper, two different chemicals were synthesized, including 1, 2-Dipenylethane and Decabromodiphenylethane. The effects of various conditions to reaction were studied. The reaction mechanisms were discussed. The products were confirmed by IR, NMR , DSC .Through the orthogonal experiment and data processing, the effect of reaction time and temperature was discussed. The good process conditions were obtained and high rate of production.good quality were studied.
