Abstract/Summary:
Lead isotope tracer technology was adopted to distinguish the source of the pollution of lead in the soil and plants in the chengdu region. At the same time the other heavy metal elements such as copper cadmium zinc and arsenic was investigated to reveal the contaminated condition of the heavy metal in the soil of chengdu. The main results of the research as following:The soil quality in the chengdu region was obviously affected by the extrinsic heavy metal. In the study we found out that the concentrations of the copper cadimium zinc and arsenic is more than the geochemistry background values.According the results of the research, the lead in the petrol and the lead in the coal should be the main source of the lead pollution. The soil in the region of heavy traffic such as both sides of road and street was contaminated by tail gas of the vehicle,so the lead isotope constitute is similar with the lead in the petrol. However the fly ash caused by coal burning is the main source of pollution in the country far from the road and in the region where a great deal of coal is burned. In sum the pollution of the lead in the soil of the chengdu is characteristic with the coal-burning and petrol-burning. There is more effects of the fly ash in the city because the air is less current, whereas in the country there is less effects of the fly ash!In the study region the element of the lead have good correlation in the air-soil-plants system, and affected by each other. The elements of lead copper zinc and arsentic have good co-relation in the soil and asparagus lettuce leaf and haulm ,in which the lead mainly come from the soil . but the fly ash have a certain effect. The lead in petrol and the lead in asparagus lettuce leaf have good correlation.
