| Among so many wastewater treatments, flocculation is not only one of the most antiquated methods, but also the most popular operative technology, which is used widely today. However, nowadays the key problem of flocculation is to develop new and high efficacious flocculants for wastewater treatment. This passage introduced how to develop the new flocculants (PFZSS) for wastewater treatment through adding iron(III) ion zinc(II) ion in the silicic acid and controlling the reactive condition. The process of developing PFZSS is as follow. At first, prepare the sodium silicate solution in a definite concentration, then add the zinc (II) sulfate and iron (III) sulfate after the solution polymerizing in acid condition for a certain time, and then the polymerization can reach an available polymeric degree in this reaction after a period of aging time. In this work, several variables that affect PFZSS flocculation capability have been studied. Particularly, the effect of pH of the solution the sodium silicate concentration iron(III) ion and zinc(II) ion concentration the mode of adding chemical and the adding chemical amount have been considered.According to the results, the optimum directions and technical condition for producing PFZSS was achieved, and the flocculation capability of PFZSS produced in the light of this direction was researched.PFZSS' capability was evaluated in the treatment of catering trade wastewater through the comparison between PFZSS and PFASS PFSS, PASS PZSS according to the flocculation result comparison experiment the decolorized result comparison experiment and the deoiling result comparison experiment. These experiments indicate that PFZSS has some advantages for wastewater treatment. On one hand, PFZSS not only has the characters of general flocculants such as electric charge neutralization and linkage of the micro particles through bridges formed by the linear chain molecules, but also can exert the advantages of iron and zinc. On the other hand, the main producers' goods such as iron material and zinc material are so common and cheap to obtain, while the process of PFZSS production is so simple relatively, that the future of developing this flocculants is promising. |
