Compressed air system of mine is complicated system engineering. It is also an unceasing developmental and changeful system. In order to allocate compressed air system rationally and run to the aim of high efficiency and energy saving, this paper completely considers all kinds of influencing factors which affect compressed air system, and systematically adopts OR, fluid mechanics hydromechanics and aerodynamics principle to research and calculate the location of air compressing machine, the made of supplying air and the type of air compressing machine in detail. The paper develops computer visual software of compressed air system and tackles minimum tree calculation to pipe network through the software. It gets pipe network system of the shortest pipeline, then verifies pipe diameter to make all kinds of factors cooperation and synergism so as to reach the purpose of best optimization.These researches design and develop computer software about compressed air system of mine by adopting the method of computer visual program on basis of software engineering theory and use popular OOP database software Visual FoxPro6.0 as developing tool, and choose Windows98 as operation platform. This software has a popular Windows style, accomplishes function naturally, tjas a friendly interface and is operated stably.This study combines the mining practice and abandons the formers complicate operation steps and utility methods to make operation easy as possible. With the pipe network prolonging, we may use the program to optimize pipe network in time, so as to supply scientific evident for prolonging and rebuilding of pipe network. The calculation result of compressed air system of Laochang Tin Mine explains that research achievements can satisfy the requirements of production. Optimization program is to easily use for mine workers and can produce significant effect. The compressed air system optimization result for Songshujiao Tin Mine and Kafang Mine and production conditions match well. So the program is easy for mine to rationally allocate compressed air system in time. It is easy to use and its application will has a good foreground.
