| Quality control of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is very important and difficult. Method that determine 1, 2 chemical constituents have been used in quality control of TCM for years. This method can not reflect the drug matching and the whole curative effect of TCM.The gas chromatography fingerprint can reflect information of TCM as more as possible. It is not only a mode and technique for TCM quality control, but also a research mode and strategy for TCM theories and new drugs development. It will contribute to TCM modernization.In my experiment, the gas chromatography fingerprint of volatile oil of four crude drugs(Pogostemon cablin (Blanco) Benth,corus grmineSoland, Curcuma aromatica, Forsythia suspense (Thunb.)Vahl), volatile extraction and preparation was established. According to the overlap ratio and eight strong peaks in their fingerprint spectrum, their similarities and differences was founded. It provides useful information for identification of plant species and verification of new species. All fingerprint conformed to the requirements for State Drug Administration's technical regulations on the injection of TCM. The fingerprints of crude drugs, volatile extraction and preparation showed an excellent correlation. The result also showed that this technique can be used as a quality control method in process of TCM.This technique has some advantages as follow: easy to operate, standard compound unnecessary, high utilization ratio for chromatographic peaks, good stability, good precision, good reproducibility. The studies are useful for the quality control of Xiangxue Antivirus Oral Liquid. It is a development for application of GC in sample analysis of complex components. |
