Biax-orientation Nylon6(BOPA) film is a new type of top grade packaging material with outstanding properties including cold-proof,heat-proof,oil resistance and good gas,water vapor barrier etc. Developing and exploiting Nylon6 resin exclusive packaging material has taken on important signification in applications that supply domestic gap and substitute for the import products.This paper presented the preparation of the BOPA and its properties including polymerization technology conditions,addition agent,raw material ratio,rheological behavior and extrusion stability of resin. Influence of relative factors,such as nucleating agent,anti-conglutination antioxidant etc,on the capabilities of BOPA and oriented strength were studied. The best reaction process was defined. Comparison of production both at home and abroad was also discussed.Experimental results show that the method to prepare BOPA is similar with general high viscosity Nylon 6. Adopted two-step way,by the evaluation system and (ordinary) decompression system of the pressure polymerization and the addition of special catalyst,Nylon6 slab with viscosity 3.5 could be obtained. But various addition agent should be used to making BOPA accord with the requirements of the strength,modulus and friction coefficient etc. The main conclusions as follow:1 .Adopted two-step way,by the evaluation system and (ordinary) decompression system of the pressure polymerization,Nylon 6 slab with viscosity 3.5 could be obtained at 5L polymerization tank. Polymerization technology condition is:Evaluation system of the pressure reaction:pressure is 0.4Mpa,temperature is 200-240 C,time is Ihr,decompression time is O.Shr.Ordinary system of the pressure reaction temperature is 270 C,time is Ihr. Decompression system of the pressure reaction:pressure is 0.06Mpa,temperature is 270 C,time is 40min.2.The best reaction composition is:Caprolactam:100 portion;anti-conglutination:1.8 %o -2.1 %o weigh percent of caprolactam;nucleating agent:l%o-3%oweigh percent of caprolactam;antioxidant:main antioxidant+ assistant antioxidant= (2%>-0.5%o) weigh percent of caprolactam.Innovation key in this paper as follow:1. solid accessing viscosity catalyst Z with outstanding properties could be obtained. 2having screened crystal nuclear-forming agent and its properties was also studied. Shaving defined the resin composition.
