Nowadays, many specialists and workers in Well Test Analysis are all finding the methods that can get the parameters of well test effectively and automatically. This paper presents two automatic type-curve matching methods of modem well test analysis after studying theories and algorithms of optimization. These two methods are Levenberg Marquardt Fletcher method (LMF) and Quasi Newton method (QNew) which are respectively based on small residual sum of squares and large residual sum of squares between measured data and ideal data in nonlinear optimization problems. Moreover, this paper modifies these methods so that they can be applied in well test analysis. Here we use numerical inverse Lap lace transform to calculate pressure of well bores and apply numerical finite difference to determine derivatives of pressure and unknown parameters, In order not to calculate the derivatives of object functions, this paper also gives out another method, which is called fast matching method (FM) of modern well test. This algorithm can get the parameters of well test in a minute. It is an effective way to do well test in Lap lace space and we can transform our real data into Lap lace space, which makes us enable to do well test in Lap lace space. And what's more, this paper also researches the well test application of networks and presents a concept of networks well test. At last some examples are presented to prove the work of this paper.
