The various properties including the surface tensions, the densities, the viscosities, the conductivities and the PH values of the commercial fountain solutions have been studied for a basis of formulating a new fountain solution containing silicon-surfactant. The properties of the new fountain solution have been measured and compared with the commercial ones as well. The resuluts show that the properties of the new fountain solution are better than the traditional ones . It is possible that silicon-surfactant can be a substituition for the traditional surfactant used in the present fountain solutions. |
