Poly(ethylene terephthalate) is the biggest of all synthetic fibers and is used extensively in human life. So the research of the fame-retardant modification of PET has been very important. In this dissertation, the preparation of key intermediate phenylphosphine and bis(2-cyanoethyl)phenylphosphine is investigated in use of phenyldichlorophosphine. Moreover, bis(2-carboxyethyl) phenylphos-phine oxidation product is synthesized , which is phosphorous-contai-ning copolymeric flame retardant and the intermediate of cationic dyable inflammable regent, and its properity and structure characterization is demonstrated.According to contrast experiments, phenylphosphine is prepared in use of but lithium aluminum hydride and diethyl ether not toluene and sodium. The advantage of former method is higher productivity and easier procedure. Moreover, the relation of reaction time and reaction temperature with productivity is investigated, and the structure of phenylphosphine is demonstrated by IR, NMR H', C GPC and mass spectrogram.By means of the reaction of phenylphosphine and acrylonitrile in non-oxygen condition, bis(2-cyanoethyl) phenylphosphine is obtained and demonstrated by IR, NMR H1, C P 3I, and the relation of reaction time and productivity is investigated for the first time.Bis(2-cyanoethyl)phenylphosphine oxide and bis(2-carbo-xyethyl) phenylphos-phine oxidation product, the copolymic flame retardant for PET, is prepared with raw material of bis(2-cyanoethyl) phenylphosphine. In according with IR, N.M.R. H1,C13, P31, the product is illustrated.
