| Relaxation method is applied to give the initial value of global Newton-Raphson method in the simulation of aromatic hydrocarbon extraction system. This combination can overcome the harsh requirement for initial value of global Newton-Raphson method. Practical problems are presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the method. To get pure non-aromatic hydrocarbon product from the materials that contain only a little aromatic hydrocarbon, a simplified extraction process is proposed to save energy. Several important operating parameters are studied to find the effects they have on the separating process. A typical case based on the research is given. |
