Abstract/Summary:
Ginkgo leaves have been studied a lot recently all over the world. It has been found that flavonoids glycosides are the main effective components. Up to now, the methods of isolating flavonoids glycosides from Ginkgo leaves are mainly water extraction and organic solvent extraction. Water extraction method is barely used because of low efficiency, high impurity and complex after-treatment. While organic solvent extraction method should be improved because of high cost and residual toxicity. In this paper, isolation of flavonoids glycosides is reviewed and water-leaching resin adsorption method is studied. By studying the effects of leaching temperature, pH value of the solutions, leaching time, leaching times and phase ratios, the optimum conditions are determined. Resin adsorption method is used to enrich and isolate flavonoids glycosides from leaching solution. The factors of effecting adsorption and elution are also be researched, such as concentration, pH value, speed of adsorbent solution, amount of resin, effluent speed, concentration, volume of eluting agent in order to find out the optimum conditions. At the same time water elution and ethanol elution are studied to get GBE of high quality. Macroporous adsorbent is used widely in natural plant because of its high selectivity and innocuity. In this paper DM-130 adsorbent is used and the result shows that the adsorbent has good adsorbability and selectivity, which will open a new way for utilizing gingko leaves.
