Political Analysis Of Countryside Eco-environmental Problem In Northwest Hubei Province

The reports from the 18 th CPC National Congress state that the development of eco-civi li-zation is of great importance to long-term plan for people’s well-being and future of o ur nation. Dealing with the severe situation like tightening of resource restrain, heavily polluted environ-ment, degeneration of eco-system, we should establish the idea of ecocivilization that is respect, conforming and protection to nature, and put the developmen t of eco-civilization in the foreground together with the development of economy, politi cs, culture and society in order to bring about a great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Presenting the vigorous developing of economy and modernization of countryside, grea t improvement of economy has grown with environmental pollutions which to some ext ent threaten the health of people and sustainable development i-n countryside. If this can not be solved the aim of constructing Wild China will hard to be reali-zed.This thesis take the eco-environment situation of countryside of which Fangxian as sam ple in northwest of Hubei province as study objective that seeks the cause of eco-environment problem and find out countermeasures to the question.The main methods of the thesis are documents iterature method, empirical approach and comparative analysis method. Collecting related research achievement domestic and overseas and documentory summary make a solid foundation for this thesis. In the basis of theoritical analysis we get full understanding of the eco-environment of Fangxian through literature research and field survey which fi nd out present eco-environmental problems in northwest Hubei province and lead us to a direct origin and solution in perspe-ctive of politics.Research shows that the political cause for countryside eco-environmental problems of no-rthwest Hubei province lies in the following aspects: the unimplement of systematic environm-ental protection in countryside, the imperfection of legal system for eco-envir onment, the seem-ing work and deficiency of legal basis of supervision from governme nt, the lopsided developm-ent leaded by the concept of political achievements of GDP i n local government, regional prot-ectionism covers the origin pollution business, weak i n environmental awareness of people and negative paticipation in political affairs, weak excutive power from local environmental protec-tion policy, etc. According to cause ana lysis, the thesis proposes direct counterplans to promote the development and improvem ent of countryside eco-environment and ensures to resolve the problems.
