| As economic and market changing, the accelerated cooling system has been a focus point in the steel making for survive and develop of iron and steel corporations.Remarkable increment is demanded in water flow control to gain bettersteel plate. But now,the traditional PID control that not fit the more and more strict technological demand is still in use.Based on analyze fuzzy control theory and present situation of water flow control, we identify three modes that combine PID and fuzzy control to improve the control quality of water flow. In these modes, we calculate flow deviation “e†and change rate of deviation“ecâ€. Then adjust the parameter and output of PID controller with fuzzy inference online to obtain better static and dynamic characteristics.We develop mathematical model based on actual operational factor with MATLAB.The simulation model of three fuzzy PID control modes is also developed with SIMULINK software. The simulation result indicate that the self-adapting fuzzy PID controller has the best control quality, and the method in this paper is proved correct and reliability. The self-adapting fuzzy PID control program is compiled with PCS7 of Siemens.The program can improve quality of steel plate in actual using. |
