As we all know, with the rapid development of people’s living standards in recent decades, the market demand about tap as a representative of the bathroom hardware products has undergone enormous changes, and it has gradually become daily essential commodities. However, due to the metal dust, labor cost and other reasons, a large number of foreign manufacturers reduced the share of foreign manufacturing and they try to carry out other production methods such as setting up factories in China or OEM. But in our country, the factory still use manual polishing due to the high cost of equipment, technical difficulties and other factors. The ultimate goal of this project is to change this situation.This paper through analyzing the technology and trajectory of the polishing machine and building the models of its part of the algorithm confirmed the final design idea based on CAM software. For irregular curve, we use three order spline interpolation to realize. Through rendering the tap profile in CAM software, the actual trajectory can be get after a trajectory algorithm operation, the G code also be generated, the lower machine can call and run the G code. This system is developed based on the industrial real-time Ethernet, the transmission speed and efficiency is very high. The system uses a soft PLC technology in today’s fast-growing, making the PC more open communication with the next crew, flexible. The system host computer system using object-oriented programming, lower computer system uses a structured and modular programming, so the entire control system structure is clear, structured.Faucet polishing machine control system being late for debugging, debugging results from the current point of view, the polishing efficiency, precision polishing has basically reached the requirements, commissioning results validate our development thinking is correct.
