For the dividing sheer, improve the cut accuracy is one of the main method of Increase revenue and reduce expenditure, To improve the cut accuracy, first we can improve the work rate, second we can reduce the product which are unqualified, third we can also reduce the cost of the spare parts, the control system of pinch rolls and measuring rolls are the core of the dividing shear which can influence the cut accuracy, so the stability and accuracy of the system is highly required.This article is with dividing sheer of ShouQin heavy plate rely on, base on the detail analysis of the steel market present situation, introduce the composition of the dividing sheer and the cut technology characteristics, analyses and research the dividing sheer control system, combine the working situation and the trouble which are happened after the dividing sheer is put into product, Emphasis on quality factor that can influence the cut accuracy, including pinch roll,measuring roll and tracking, the deviation of the accuracy can bring some quality problem, For example:depression, Edge crack, burr and so on. No matter accuracy problem or quality problem can bring negative effects to the product cost, if the accuracy control is low, this will increase the steel factory burden in the present market situation. To solve these problem, this paper analyses the main factor which cause the deviation, and research the influence to the cut accurary by the tracking system, discuss the strategy of improve the cut accurary, optimize the movement of the measuring roll and hold down device of the dividing sheer. Through the application effect, this paper described a series of the optimazed methods and their effects which improve the accuracy of the dividing shear system.
